Cinema Beyond Boundaries

India’s rich artistic and cultural heritage has always found a powerful voice through cinema. As a universal language, film connects cultures, preserves stories, and inspires generations across the world.

HIFA International Film Awards (HIFA), launched in 2026, is an international platform dedicated to celebrating cinematic excellence and discovering new voices in global cinema. The festival brings together filmmakers, film professionals, critics, students, and cinema lovers from around the world to honor creativity, storytelling, and innovation.

HIFA supports independent and emerging filmmakers by providing recognition, visibility, and opportunities for cultural exchange. Along with film screenings, the festival features discussions, workshops, and masterclasses focused on filmmaking and film appreciation.

Our Initiative & Legacy

HIFA International Film Awards is an initiative of HIFA (Haryanvi Innovative Film Association), a registered society that has been actively working for the welfare of artists and the promotion of regional and independent cinema for the past four years.

Our activities include organizing award ceremonies, film competitions, creative programs, and engaging with cultural institutions and government bodies on film policy, education, and artist welfare.

With this experience, we are launching HIFA International Film Awards to connect regional cinema with the global filmmaking community. The name HIFA is retained as it represents our established creative association.
